Since 1997 they have created and developed a stunning range of subtly variegated ceramic glazes and original tile designs to help make your projects truly unique. Every tile produced is it's own mini work of art. Through a meticulous approach to glaze creation and product design the Studio has built a valued reputation of being one of the foremost handmade tiles producers worldwide.

What makes Royce Wood Handmade Tiles special?

The defining characteristic of the tiles is the unique variegated glaze surfaces with beautiful tonal nuances. This is achieved by clays oxides and coloured ceramic stains which, in the alchemy of the high kiln firings produce the lustrous signature Royce Wood glazes.
Peter and the team have been developing their glazed tiles collection over the past 30 years and continues to experiment and innovate 
glazes and ceramic tiles to make your projects truly outstanding.

Over the past decade Royce Wood Studio have developed the Fusion Glaze Range for architectural terracotta rainscreen cladding in partnership with James & Taylor Ltd and Moeding Keramikfassaden Gmbh of Germany.
